BLIND FAITH IS NOT WHAT THE TRUE CHRIST TAUGHT

BLIND FAITH IS NOT WHAT THE TRUE CHRIST TAUGHT

The Great Cornholio, 2 days ago:

@Don don, people often laugh at things they don't understand or have never experienced. In the early 1800s when John Dalton started talking about everything being made up of tiny invisible particles, everyone laughed. Then someone came along an invented a microscope [to confirm Dalton] and no one is laughing anymore.

Don don, 2 days ago:

@The Great Cornholio, Key difference. John Dalton was a scientist, he used scientific methods and relied on Experimental Evidence to formulate his theory which was later proven wrong (or rather incomplete) and improved upon by other scientists using the same scientific methodology; religion does not correspond to either of those, it relies on Unquestionable Dogma. [Blind faith].

So that is a poorly constructed correlation.

Nevertheless, if you do in fact turn up to be right and one day happen upon a snake talking to you, please do give me a call. Either that or call an ambulance, your choosing.

Arnulfo Laniba:

@Don don, you have been referring to blind faith all this time... the kind of faith that Catholicism taught or imposed upon her subjects worldwide leading to so much stumbling. That is not the kind of faith that the true Christ, as recorded in His own version of the gospel, The Great Gospel according to Jesus Christ thru John, which you can download from www.Scribd.com The true Jesus is talking and teaching about evidence-based Seeing Faith!

@Don don, it's the perfect correlation. Something at the time that couldn't be proven. Seemed preposterous. Science at the time was like "Yeah, dude. That's not a thing. There's no magic particles (atoms) all over. You live in a fantasy land."

Exactly same what we see going on here. Doubts and skepticism.

Faith is belief in things unseen.

BLIND FAITH SHOULD BE TREATED WITH EXTREME CARE

We have been referring to blind faith all this time... the kind of faith that Catholicism taught or imposed upon her subjects worldwide leading to so much stumbling. That is not the kind of faith that the true Christ, as recorded in His own version of the gospel, The Great Gospel according to Jesus Christ thru John, which you can download from www.Scribd.com The true Jesus is talking and teaching about evidence-based Seeing Faith! Faith is seeing and believing the unseen things, but still there are solid evidence of some sorts that became its basis. It was nor is a totally baseless blind faith. For example, to believe in an invisible God does not happen without some bases of some sort. There are more solid bases other than the eyes.

The infamous debate through correspondence between Dr. Jose Rizal and Jesuit priest Pablo Pastells was centered on the difference between blind faith (or believing the Church without questioning) and seeing faith or knowledge-based faith.

As this genius Filipino who died a martyr and hero for the Filipino people, grew to accumulate knowledge, understanding and wisdom, Rizal evolved from blind faith to evidence-based faith, especially when he saw the sad and miserable effects of believing without fact checking. The oppression of the Filipino people, the exploitation (theft) of their resources, and the painful effects of blindly believing the Spaniards, moved Rizal to do fact checking... and only believe what he proved to be true, honest, beneficial and loving.

Blind faith may be good as a starter or for small children, but it should be followed by proving such faith (the things you accepted and believe) by putting them into practice or by looking for the experience or experiment of others, to see if the results were good or bad.

As a matter of fact, blind faith is very dangerous if the teacher or bringer of doctrines, are not of God. This is devastating to the Philippines as the Spaniards (Jesuits) proved to be fake apostles of Christ.

Four hundred years forward, the many bad traits such as gambling and fatalism that they sowed along with the so-called wheats of the gospel, are the very ones that thrive and have become not mere vices but they have become the way of life of the people... For what was rare in Rizal’s time, say, one gambler per 10-member family, it is now 9 gamblers per same family! Then, more other vices were given birth due to the virus of laziness found in gambling. Immoralities, prostitutions, robberies, and many others are daughters of laziness-based gambling.

The vice of gambling and tira pasagad (fatalism = deciding without foresight, that is, without first knowing the consequences) have replaced the true Christian faith-based living, which is living based on God’s laws, and knowing that these laws are the causes of the blessings that we want!

Doing gambling is blindness. The gambler does not know the consequences, both temporal and eternal-long-term.

Even in the so-called initial blind faith, the hearer should have at least some effective methods of checking the doctrine at the mental and emotional... it is not to be baseless.

Many of the Jews and the men who killed Jesus insisted for actual signs or miracles. They did not believe the mere teachings or mere words or the theory. So there has to be some mental-emotional screening before this initial faith is to be given... it appears as blind faith but in reality, there has to be a strict mental-emotional screening that occurs before it passes the hearer’s test.

Doubts should not be taken as all-wrong... doubt is the natural first phase before you have decided that it is true or not... Doubt is the state before a certain issue is proven... while you are still checking it out, or have not yet proved it, it is doubt that is in your mind, not faith. So before faith, it is doubt. Do not treat doubt as enemy... welcome it when it is its time ... let doubt settles for it is the one that will also move you to proceed to prove all things and then faith can come. To many, and this is correct, doubt is a strong motivation for one to prove it; and when the proving is complete, you can now believe what is shown as true (hence, faith) and reject what is seen as false.

In dealing with blind faith, parents and leaders should be extra-careful to see to it that falsehood of any kind does not the freedom to circulate in your nation or community... This is to protect the children and the innocent who do not possess the wisdom and knowledge to identify the hooks behind the bait.

There must be an effective screening committee among clans or in the community to study the true nature of a new idea or ideology.

This was a big failure by our ancestors that they allowed the entry of political-economic systems as well as spiritual teachings that end up very disastrous to both body and soul of the individual and the people.

The devastation of the brains, the minds, the bodies of the people are occuring because there was no effective screening among our ancestors... but in some cases, there were doubts among them and the lack of the ability to fully identify the true nature, e.g., spot the hooks behind the baits – and this lack of clarity among our elders led many of their children to adopt the foreign ideas, first the capitalism-democracy-christianity and to others, the opposite ideologies of atheism and communism.

All these systems and ideologies have their own patent weaknesses and harms. They are not the true gospel that the true Christ sent to all nations via His apostles. They are not the systems of true love but of greed, subtle manipulation, lust and well-covered pride.

As this faulty greed-means and lust-aims called capitalism bore its unhealthy fruits, the same wicked men, namely: the Jesuits, invented another system to serve as trap no. 2 to catch those falling away from its first trap (capitalism)... this second trap is called atheism-communism!

Same group owns them. The satanist Illuminati.

Blind FAITH might be the start but it should have been followed by fact checking. But best of all, before faith or believing, the exemplary act of the Bereans during apostle Paul’s time, should have been done, to wit: The Bereans checked everything carefully mainly using the Scriptures to see if it were so.

They did not come into faith unless and until careful study was done first. So, it was not blind faith... for though nothing was seen yet, but inside the mind, they already do see it clearly enough to believe or reject.

More so in this time. Blind faith should be replaced by informed faith, verified faith, seeing faith, proven faith... blind faith which is baseless or unproven faith or unproved “truths” should be done away with!
